Financial Analyst
The successful candidate is self-motivated, possesses the necessary skills, and seeks new challenges to become a part of our team. This recently added position in a broad company-wide role offers the opportunity to leverage your skills in financial management and business analytics as you interact with all levels or personnel to drive our business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide decision support analysis to all areas of the organization to make processes more efficient/simple/profitable.
- Analyze current environment and develop specific recommendations to achieve expense reductions, margin improvements, productivity improvements, operating efficiencies, liquidity improvement and overall profitability.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Develop models to evaluate growth and business opportunities.
- Perform other ad-hoc analysis as needed (sales/marketing, production, finance).
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field. MBA and Certifications a big plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of financial analysis experience.
- MUST HAVE STRONG COMPUTER MODELING SKILLS, with advanced MS Access and Excel experience. Sage MAS 500 experience a plus.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities in a team environment.
- Able to complete complex analyses and present recommendations to co-workers and management in a clear and concise manner (verbal, non-verbal and written).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. Must be detail oriented, positive, objective, and thorough.
- Able to manage multiple projects effectively.
- “Big picture” thinker capable of understanding the key trends and levers that drive the business.
