Did Gold Canyon Close?

The previous owner of the Gold Canyon brand closed its operations in 2020. Our company, Scent Cloud, LLC, purchased the Gold Canyon name and fragrance formulas from the previous owner's creditors and relaunched the brand in 2022. Scent Cloud and the Gold Canyon brand are dedicated to immersive scents, cleaner ingredients, and mental health awareness.
Who owns the Gold Canyon scent formulas?

We do! In fact, by popular demand, we are developing new releases with the original scent formulas. Look out for the 'Original Fragrance Formula' banner on many of our products.
Are the current Gold Canyon candles the exact same as the old Gold Canyon candles?

The old candles were made with paraffin wax. The current Gold Canyon candles are made of 100% soy wax and cotton wicks. Some candles have updated fragrance blends, but many feature original fragrance formulas, straight from our archives. Look out for the 'Original Fragrance Formula' banner on many of our products.
